Kongcubator is Y Combinator meets Shark Tank in web3.
Created by Rumble Kong League (RKL) and Penny Jar, this unique fund will support projects from community members with the singular goal of improving and expanding the RKL ecosystem.
Projects that emerge victorious from the Kongcubator will receive funding, advisory support, and an expansive network to leverage as they look to grow the project.
How it works
Projects: The best applicants will be building something that contributes significantly to the RKL ecosystem. Bonus points if the project is based around web3 technology (NFTs, blockchain, cryptocurrency, etc.).
Timing: The Kongcubator will take place multiple times per year in Seasons, kicking off Season 1 in Q4 2022. Dates will be announced each Season in advance of the application deadline.
Winnings: Projects that are accepted into The Kongcubator will receive a grant (split into 4 milestone based installments), advisory support from RKL and Penny Jar, and the support of the vast RKL partner network.
Share Your Vision & Progress
Fill out the application of your original idea, or one from the bounty board! Share details about yourself, your project, and why it will help the RKL ecosystem. Make sure to include images, videos, links, and/or other supporting documentation to best illustrate what you’re building and the progress you’ve made thus far.
Get Community Support
Share with the broader community for validation and support. After a Season, the community will choose the overall winning project on The Kongcubator Live Show portion with special guests. So hit Discord, Twitter, and group chats to share your idea and drum up support. Who knows, you might even find a partner or two in the process.
Get Ready For Action
If you’re selected to participate in the Kongcubator, now it’s time to prep. You will be given details around what to expect out of the competition, but know that it will be broadcasted to the community. So get ready to wow the selection committee and your fellow Kongs.
The Judges
There will be a five (5) person Selection Council with certain seats rotating each quarter. The Selection Council will determine the winner out of the three (3) projects competing.
The Council will include:
